The best of them is "FriendsWin" this one launches in October 2007 and is set to rival MySpace because it will pay its members and have Video Dating.. see my links to get more information and to register for free.

White and Nerdy Video - SO FUNNY

I just love this song and video, very funny AND for me a bonus as Donny Osmond has a part in the video - YEP!! Donny loves nothing better than to take the pee out of himself and he does it brilliantly here, very funny parts in the "Making of Video" too.  For Donny fans, Donny's parts in the Making of one start at around 4 min 30 into the video and there is a fair bit with him in.

JOKE - Software Problems

Software Upgrade

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Football 5.0 and Cricket 3.0. and now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Desperate

Dear Desperate:

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Try to enter the command: C:/I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0.

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1.

Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will create Snoring Loudly. WAV files. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program.

These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Food 3.0 and Lingerie 7.7.

Regards

Tech Support

====================

And one for the men out there:

months ago, I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from DrinkingMates 4.2, which I had used for years without any trouble.

However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off.

To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as LadsNightOut 3.1
Football 4.5, and Playboy 6.9. Successive versions of GirlFriend proved no better.

I tried a shareware program, Slapper 2.1, but it had many bugs and left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut downcompletely for several weeks.

Eventually, I tried to run GirlFriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the same time, only to discover that when these twosystems detected each other they caused severe damage to my hardware.

I eventually upgraded to Fiancée 1.0, only to discover that this product soon had to be upgraded further to Wife 1.0. While Wife 1.0 tends to use up all my available resources, it does come bundled with FreeS*xPlus and Cleanhouse2005.

Shortly after this upgrade, however, I found that Wife 1.0 could be very unstable and costly to run. Any mistakes I made were automatically stored in Wife 1.0's memory and could not be deleted. They then resurfaced months later when I had forgotten about them.

Wife 1.0 also has an automatic Diary, Explorer and E-mail filter, and can, without warning, launch TurboStrop and Multi-Whinge. These latter products have no Help files, and I have to try to guess what
the problem is.

Additional problems are that Wife 1.0 needs updating regularly, requiring ShoeShop Browser for new attachments and Hairstyle Express which needs to be reinstalled every other week.

Also, when Wife 1.0 attaches itself to my Saab 93 Convertible hard drive, it often crashes.

Wife 1.0 also comes with an irritating pop-up called MotherInLaw, which can't be turned off.

Recently I've been tempted to install Mistress 2005, but there could be problems. A friend of mine has alerted me to the fact that if Wife 1.0 detects Mistress 2005, it tends to delete all of your Money before uninstalling itself.

Power Surges OMG!!!

Well totally ticked off here in South Wales... Last Monday overnight, my lovely little Welsh Valley had a power cut, followed by my computer receiving a nice big power surge which totally fried my computer and wiped my Hard Drive - can you say "ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Ok so, a couple of hundred pounds and 1 week later (kudos to Andrew in Ammanford "Computers don't Byte" on getting me back online so quickly!!) and here I am again.

Very sad that I lost all my personal stuff (pictures, videos) from my hard drive.

I was told after this by a friend of a thing called an "Anti-surge plug" - I so wish I had known of those last Sunday!!! Anyway, I have been and bought one and it is now protecting my new computer from any future power surges, but to any of you peeps out there like me "Your learning as you go along with computers and the internet" - so your not a "Techy" then if you do not have one of these, please, please rush out and get one, mine cost £15.99 and as we approach the winter season there is more likelihood of power cuts and surges and that could happen anytime, even during the day when your sat on it.

Happy computing everyone, I am very pleased to be back online and also very pleased that I uploaded a lot of my pictures here, phew!!!

2006 Bit of a Yuk Year! Big Changes in my life

This past year has been mostly traumatic with a couple of really good things.

Firstly my marriage finally ended, I have been unhappy for some time and it all came to a head in July of this year.  It was very traumatic at the time but I can now say that "Mostly" my ex and I can get on ok for the sake of the kids.

My daughter discovered she was pregnant at the end of last year and of course at only 17 at that time, this was also a bit traumatic but she was determined she would have the baby and in May this year presented me with my first Grandson, Damien, who is absolutely gorgeous and he and my daughter are doing really well.  Despite her young age she is a great Mum and I am EXTREMELY proud of her.  I was present at the birth of my Grandson and I must say, having been at the "Busy End" twice before, it was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life to see a baby born WOW!! and my Laura, hats off to her, she sailed through it, so impressed with her and I will say it again, PROUD!!

So the baby was the first good thing and the second is that I am now with a wonderful man named Ian whom I love and adore.

Life goes on  Check back for more updates.

My Osmond Trip

Well it was a fantastic night (apart from getting lost in Hammersmith) I got to Hammy easy enough from Wales and then it took me over an hour to find my car park, oh well, such is life LOL.

Havn't got time to put a full report down, but the evening was like one huge reunion show between what were the Teeneyboppers (now housewives and Mothers) and our boys, the Osmonds (hard to explain this, but we feel for them in more ways than normal fans of musicians, not just their music, we have literally "Grown-up" with this family, most of us there became fans when we were very young teenagers, some there were at Heathrow when the wall collapsed for instance and we have grown up, married, had kids, divorced, whatever, but always had them in our lives in one way or another, we are immensley proud of all the Osmond children and will smile all stupidly at them, like a bunch of caring aunts.

Anyway, so it was like a massive get together and very emotional when the Head of the Boys, Alan Osmond came on stage to do not just one song with them but four, he walked on with his cane and then threw it away and said, we can do without that.  It was fantastic and so emotional watching him listen to the fans shouting and stomping for him like it was in the 70's, the guy had tears in his eyes as he "remembered".

So for me it was one lovely big trip back down memory lane, not the same as when I go to Donny's exciting, new music concerts, I am a Donny Fan for what he is now not for the Puppy Love days, but just as enjoyable for those reasons.

I have put a couple of pictures up for anyone interested.

Got to get to bed now, night

Tomorrow I turn into a "Stalker"

Well tomorrow (thurs 16th March) I am putting on my dirty raincoat, my "I am a Stalker" badge and making my way to Lovely London town to go see The Osmonds, yes you heard me LOL....

My fav guy's Brothers are in town, well have been for about a month doing a UK tour on the back of the demand created by the "Once in a Lifetime Tour" last year (that had David Essex, David Cassidy, Bay City Rollers as well as The Osmonds).  Tomorrow is their 2nd to last gig and will be something of a "One-Off" show as well, it will be taped for DVD (it's at Hammersmith Apollo btw) AND Alan Osmon will be making an appearance for this one show.  Many of you may not know this but Alan Osmond has suffered now for a fair few years with MS and is therefore not well enough to perform any more.  His brothers Merrill, Jay, Wayne and Jimmy did the OILT Tour last year and so they have "Re-Experienced" the 2nd coming of Osmond Mania (they get pretty emotional and it's lovely to see when they are with their fans).  And so tomorrow will be exciting and emotional for fans and brothers alike to see them up on a London stage again, to a sell-out audience and Alan will get to experience Osmond mania once again, perhaps for the last time.

The show will be (so we are adamently told by Donny's assistant) minus Donny who unfortunately got other commitments he can't get out of.

But the Donny.commers (Donny's fan website members) and Osmonds Fans all over will be putting on a show for the boys to show them how much they are appreciated with screams of "We Want the Osmonds" and Huge Party Canons going off, it should be good.  I am really looking forward to it, even though I am a "Donny Girl" through and through (I love what the Grown Up Donny does now) as opposed to this will be a wonderful trip down memory lane and a nostalgic fun time.

Catch you later...
